Maxim Healthcare Staffing Will Become Amergis in April
Forthcoming Rebrand Solidifies Organization’s Independence, Recognizes Expanded Education Services
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
COLUMBIA, Maryland (March 11, 2024) – Maxim Healthcare Staffing, a leading provider of health care staffing solutions for more than 35 years, will rebrand as Amergis April 8, heralding a new era of excellence in health care staffing solutions. The company announced the future name change today, and an expansion of its education staffing division, now known as Amergis Educational Staffing.
Organization leaders unveiled the new name and logo internally in advance of the formal transition April 8. External audiences should anticipate seeing changes to digital and online assets like the website, email domains and social media accounts, as well as printed materials and correspondence beginning in early April.
“Our name is changing, and the logo will be different, but what remains is our commitment to connecting people to work that matters and helping our clients find the right staffing solutions for their unique challenges,” said Bill Butz, President of Maxim Healthcare Staffing. “We are passionate about our ongoing support for the health care industry and find new inspiration in expanding our focus to help more school-based professionals. We want to streamline the staffing process and enhance the educational experience for students and staff alike.”
Maxim Healthcare Staffing – soon to be Amergis – specializes in staffing nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, travel nurses and medical coders in hospitals, schools, government programs, correction facilities and managed care organizations.
The decision to rebrand is a direct result of the company’s commitment to clarity and alignment, recognizing the need to eliminate confusion with the homecare organization, Maxim Healthcare Services. As Maxim Healthcare Services assists patients in home and school settings, distinguishing between the two organizations’ respective services became paramount. Additionally, Maxim Healthcare Staffing’s services extend beyond the health care industry and the previous name no longer fully encapsulated the company’s scope and mission.
The name Amergis is derived from the word “merge” reflecting the company’s efforts to merge highly talented professionals with clients’ existing teams.
In addition to the organization’s ongoing services for a variety of industry sectors, the newly expanded Amergis Educational Staffing will offer:
- A local presence in communities, facilitating in-person meetings and first-day “walk-in” onboarding, providing seamless transitions for school-based professionals.
- Dedicated local and national hub recruitment teams specialized in school-based positions.
- Interactive technology platforms MaxView client dashboard and MaxView Jobs mobile application, a new candidate app that seamlessly interfaces with the company’s proprietary dashboard, ensuring streamlined staffing experiences and management of temporary workforces.
- Recruiting services for often hard-to-staff specialties in the education field such as behavioral health and special education, as well as nursing and support staff.
- An expanding national database of candidates.
“We are dedicated to easing the burden on school staff by providing reliable, qualified professionals to fill absences and long-term positions,” affirmed Bill Butz. “Our commitment to understanding each school’s culture and expectations, coupled with effective communication, is our top priority.”
