Our history

Two cousins set out to provide organizations with qualified nurses to battle a nationwide shortage. Since opening the first office in Towson, Maryland, our commitment to a higher standard of service and building meaningful relationships has allowed us to grow to one of the largest healthcare and educational staffing companies in the US.
Amergis received certification by the Joint Commission. Our growth into a trusted staffing leader is fueled by our emphasis on providing quality over quantity. Whether it is recruiting, onboarding or credentialing, we do it all to ensure our qualified professionals can hit the ground running. Our growing clinical team helps develop innovative training programs and valuable resources that ensure we are always improving our services.
