The Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care for post-partum patients. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nursing license within the state of practice
- Minimum of one year post-partum experience preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
