- Perform comprehensive eye exams and visual function evaluations in accordance with VBA protocols
- Assess service-connected conditions such as ocular trauma, refractive errors, retinal disease, and other vision-related impairments
- Document findings using standardized reporting formats—no treatment or follow-up care required
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working with sensitive Veteran health information

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted license to practice optometry in the state of service
- Prior experience with VA or disability assessments preferred but not required
- Strong clinical documentation and interpersonal skills
