Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Compounding Pharmacist for a contract opportunity with a respected healthcare organization in Wisconsin. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for pharmacists seeking supplemental income, PRN work, or additional weekend coverage opportunities.
Position Highlights
- 13-week contract assignment - possible extensions
- Approximately 16 hours per week
- Weekend coverage and PTO coverage responsibilities

- $1,000 retention bonus available after 30 days of employment*

Schedule
- Two scheduled weekend shifts per month
- Weekend hours: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Weekday coverage hours may vary based on operational needs
- Additional on-call responsibilities available during non-business hours
Responsibilities
- Review and dispense prescribed medications
- Compound medications according to established pharmacy standards
- Ensure medication safety, accuracy, and compliance
- Provide patient counseling and medication education
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals
- Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug-related concerns
- Maintain pharmacy records and inventory
- Support pharmacy operations and supervise support staff as needed
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Compounding experience preferred
- Previous on-call or after-hours pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
