The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: SHIFT: WED THURS 7P-7A
1. One of the following primary modality certifications is required: Radiography (R) by ARRT; Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB
2. Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB is required
3. State Licensure required- Texas: MRT by TMB
4. BLS required (AHA only)
