The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
- Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age

?? Schedule: 36hrs/wk
- Shift: Must be flexible with getting an offer for days or nights. It will be one or the other for the duration of their contract, but need to be open to either.
- 8hr or 12hr shifts (may be combination 36hrs is the GTE). Candidate doesn’t get to choose. Must be flexible with both.
?? Start Date: February biweekly orientation
?? Contract Length: 13 weeks
?? Pay Package Breakdown:
Total Weekly gross 36hrs= $1,912/wk
• Untaxed Housing Stipend: $770/week
• Untaxed Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $476/week
• Hourly Rate (Taxable): $18.50/hour
• Overtime Rate: $50/hour
