Corrections RN – Jefferson City, MO | ASAP Start

We’re hiring an experienced Corrections Registered Nurse for an immediate opening in Jefferson City, Missouri. This is a stable 13-week assignment with strong potential for extension and consistent 12-hour shifts.

Position Details

• ASAP start

• 36 hours per week

• 12-hour shifts

• Day Shift: 7:00am–7:30pm

• 13-week assignment

• Extensions are common

Compensation

Local RN

• $50/hour

Travel RN

• $2,038/week (Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay)

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population.  This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
• Must be at least 18 years of age
