Psych RN – Day & Night Shifts | St. Louis, MO | 2/17 Start

We’re seeking experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses for both day and night shift openings in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a 13-week assignment with a consistent 36/48 hour rotation and the possibility of floating between North and South St. Louis facilities.

Position Details

• Day shift 7:00am–7:30pm

• Night shift 7:00pm–7:30am

• Start date: February 17th

• 36/48 hour rotation (Week 1: 36 hrs • Week 2: 48 hrs • Week 3: 36 hrs)

• 13-week contract

• May float between North & South St. Louis campuses

• Travel pay requires residing 50+ miles from the facility

Compensation

Local Candidates

• Base rate: $50/hour

• OT rate: $75/hour

Travel Candidates

(Must live 50+ miles from the facility to qualify)

• 36-hour week: $2,278/week

• 48-hour week: $2,970/week

The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders.  The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care.  The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
• Must be at least 18 years of age
