Registered Nurse
- Setting - Residential group home
- Population - Intellectually and developmentally disabled adults
- Location - Buena Park, CA
- Schedule - Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (may slightly vary)
- Start date - Upon Amergis completion
- Pay - $55/hr - WEEKLY PAY!
Job Duties
Perform routine health assessments such as vitals, physical checks, and ongoing monitoring of chronic conditions.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and document all care provided.
Respond to changes in residents’ health status and coordinate follow-up with physicians or emergency services as needed.
Maintain accurate nursing records including test results, progress notes, and care documentation.
Develop and update individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and physician recommendations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including direct support staff, house managers, physicians, and families to ensure continuity of care.
Ensure compliance with Medicaid and state regulations related to nursing services and documentation.
Oversee medication administration systems and ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation.
Train and supervise authorized direct support staff in medication administration where allowed by state law.
Audit medication records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
