Overview
Amergis is partnering with Cascade to staff a brand-new 23-hour Evaluation & Treatment (E&T) Center in Centralia, WA. This site functions as a Psychiatric Emergency Room (Psych ER) for acute behavioral health needs. Patients may stay up to 23 hours and 59 minutes; if not ready for discharge, they transition to Cascade’s Inpatient Treatment (IP) unit.
This is a new build and launch—ideal for Social Workers who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are comfortable with process evolution during start-up. Staff must be prepared for early-stage policy changes, process improvement, and occasional operational speedbumps. Per the E&T model, the site must accept ~97% of patients brought in, turning away only those with significant injuries requiring alternate care.
All staff will begin as Amergis temporary employees with a planned temp-to-perm transition once operations stabilize.
