Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a well-respected organization in Berkshire County, MA providing group home services. Currently seeking full and part-time professionals to join their team on a contractual basis. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment while gaining valuable experience.

Position Overview

As a Direct SUpport Personnel across their various programs, you will play a vital role in providing direct support to adults with developmental disabilities and severe and persistent mental illness. You’ll assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help individuals thrive in their communities.

Locations: Adams, North Adams, Pittsfield, West Stockbridge, Clarksburg and Williamstown.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks to start

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
Support community integration and social activities
Maintain a safe and supportive environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

Prior experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness preferred
No experience required
Must meet contract requirements:
- BLS Certification (Free on-site training available)
- Physical Exam
- Fingerprinting ($45 out-of-pocket, reimbursed)
