Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Charleston, WV
Hourly pay:  $82
Start Date: 1/5/2026
Shift: Day shift, 4x10s (Monday–Friday)
Hours: 40 hrs/week – No weekends, No on-call

About the Role

Amergis Healthcare is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform complex imaging procedures, including vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional studies. This role involves operating advanced radiographic equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate radiographic equipment for angiographic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist physicians and healthcare team during vascular and neuro interventions.
  • Monitor patient condition and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
  • Prepare procedure rooms and maintain equipment functionality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a 24-month AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current state licensure or certification (as required).
  • Minimum 1 year Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
