Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice Care

Location: Kearneysville, WV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice RN to provide care, comfort, and support to terminally ill patients in a home care setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality end-of-life care, patient education, and emotional support for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
  • Provide symptom management and emotional support to patients and families.
  • Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Ensure compliance with all hospice care standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions.

Requirements

  • Current RN license 
  • Home care or hospice experience required (ICU or other end-of-life care may be considered).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Additional Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Setting: Home hospice care.
  • Hourly Pay: $47; If 50+ miles, you qualify for travel stipends.
  • OT rate: $67.50
