Location: Port Hueneme, CA
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Contract Length: Through end of school year (20 weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, AM shift, 40 hours/week
Setting: In-person; elementary and pre-K classrooms

About the Role
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – ES provides consultation, training, and conducts behavioral evaluations. This role involves developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for students with academic and behavioral challenges. The BCBA acts as a clinical teacher, educating, observing, assessing, and supervising behavioral service delivery within the school setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide consultation and training to school staff
- Supervise and monitor implementation of behavior plans
- Support students with academic and behavioral deficits
- Collaborate with educators and administrators to ensure effective service delivery
Minimum Requirements
- Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Teaching, or related field
- Preferred: Experience providing behavior analytic programs in schools
- Minimum 1 year pediatric experience preferred
- Compliance with all professional standards and state/federal requirements
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB clearance and health certificate (per state regulations)
- Must be at least 18 years old
Compensation
- Local Pay Rate: $85/hour
- Travel Weekly Pay (50 miles+): $3,859/week
