Role Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting is responsible for:
- Performing student evaluations
- Providing therapy services in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders
- Documenting all therapy sessions and progress
Minimum Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by state/contract)
- Compliance with all professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Pay Details
- Local: $65/hour
- Travel Weekly Package: $3,451.50 including meals & housing
