Registered Nurse – Outpatient Cardiac Clinic
Location: Olympia, WA
Schedule: Tues-Thurs Day Shift (3x10s)
Pay: $50-60/hr
Facility: Outpatient Clinic
Assignment: 13 - 26 weeks with temp-to-perm opportunity
Start Date: 12/29/25
Position Summary:
The RN(Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specializes in working with patients undergoingcardiac procedures in a catheterization lab. During cardiaccatheterizations, these specially trained nurses assist the medical team bymonitoring the patient’s vitals, assisting with procedural sedatives, assistingdoctors, technicians, nurses and the patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac rhythm assessments and stress testing
- Administer IV enhancing agents and monitor patient response
- Interpret EKGs and escalate findings appropriately
- Support immunization and wellness efforts in outpatient clinic settings
- Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with clinic protocols and research standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Washington State RN License
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Knowledge in cardiac rhythm monitoring, stress testing, EKG interpretation, and IV administration
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
