Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a well-respected organization in Western Massachusetts to hire Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for full-time and part-time opportunities in a group home setting.

This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting individuals with disabilities while working with a supportive and mission-driven team.

Position Overview

  • Locations: Adams, North Adams, Clarksburg, Pittsfield, Williamstown, West Stockbridge
  • Setting: Group Home
  • Duration: 13-week assignment with strong potential for extension
  • Schedule: All shifts available (full-time & part-time)
  • Pay Rate: $20/hour (plus $200 incentive bonus)

Role Summary

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on care and daily living support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. This is a highly interactive role that requires compassion, reliability, and a willingness to assist with personal care and household responsibilities.

You will play a key role in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for the individuals you support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Encourage independence, personal growth, and skill development
  • Facilitate community outings and recreational activities
  • Follow care plans and document services accurately

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Reliable transportation required
  • High school diploma/GED or at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Comfortable providing direct personal care, including toileting assistance
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
