The LPN / LVN Pediatric Nurse functions under the supervision and guidance of the RN/Nursing Supervisor or Physician and participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients and provides clinical support and technical assistance to the professional medical and other staff. The LPN is responsible for functioning within the scope of practice dictated by the respective Board of Nursing.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current LPN/LVN nursing license within the state of assignment
- Minimum of one year pediatric clinical experience within the last three years preferred
- Current PALS Card (per client and / or state requirement)
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
