Job Title: Part-Time Remote Nutritionist – Correctional Health
Location: Fully Remote (Serving Incarcerated Individuals in Washington State)
Pay Rate: $28-30/hour DOE
Schedule: Flexible within Monday–Friday
About the Role
We are seeking a Washington State–certified Nutritionist to provide remote nutritional counseling and support for incarcerated individuals. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule during weekdays, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on health and wellness in correctional settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual nutritional assessments and consultations for incarcerated individuals.
- Develop individualized meal plans and dietary recommendations based on health needs and facility guidelines.
- Collaborate with correctional healthcare teams to ensure nutritional standards are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and facility regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Nutritionist Certificate (required).
- Experience in clinical or correctional health settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connection and secure workspace.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, flexible hours Monday–Friday.
- Pay rate: $28/hour.

Level I
Coordinator all phases of nutrition care including nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education and counseling of hospitalized patients and outpatients in a variety of settings. Perform duties in support of and in compliance with performance improvement plans, Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
Level II
Function in a supervisory role as a team leader in addition to the duties and responsibilities of Level I.
Minimum Requirements:
Level I
- Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or comparable major preferred and or per state requirements.
- One year in an acute care environment preferred; experience may be waived for specific positions.
- Current BLS card.
- Level II Same as Level I
- Two years in an acute care environment with one year supervisory experience preferred; experience may be waived for specific positions
- Successful completion of coordinated program or dietetic internship of not less than 900 hours underthe supervision of a Registered Dietitian preferred
- Level I and II must pass The Company testing process
- Current BLS card
- Current physical exam per state or contract regulations.
- Current TB test or chest x-ray
